The official website for Senki Zesshō Symphogear XV, the upcoming fifth season of the Symphogear anime, revealed on Friday that Yuka Iguchi and Misaki Kuno will reprise their roles as Miku Kohinata and Elfnein, respectively, from the franchise's previous anime. The website also revealed visuals for the characters.

Nana Mizuki as Tsubasa Kazanari
Ayahi Takagaki as Chris Yukine
Yōko Hikasa as Maria Cadenzavna Eve
Yoshino Nanjō as Shirabe Tsukuyomi
Ai Kayano as Kirika Akatsuki
The previously revealed cast also includes:
- Hideo Ishikawa as Genjūrō Kazanari
- Sōichiro Hoshi as Shinji Ogawa
- Kenji Akabane as Sakuya Fujitaka
- Asami Seto as Aoi Tomosato
- Kazuhiro Yamaji as Yatsuhiro Kazanari
- Mugihito as Fudo Kazanari
The anime will premiere in July, delayed from its original April premiere. The series will air on Tokyo MX, MBS, TV Aichi, BS11, and AT-X.
The main cast and staff of Senki Zesshō Symphogear AXZ are returning for the fifth season. Mizuki will again perform the opening theme song, and Takagaki will again perform the ending song.
The Senki Zesshō Symphogear franchise premiered with a 13-episode television series in January 2012. The second television anime, Senki Zesshō Symphogear G, followed from July to September 2013, and the third television anime, Senki Zesshō Symphogear GX, aired from July to September of 2015.
Senki Zesshō Symphogear AXZ, the fourth season, ran from July to September 2017. Katsumi Ono, director of the second and third Symphogear anime, returned to direct the fourth series again at Satelight. Elements Gardenhandled the music once more, and Akifumi Kaneko and Noriyasu Agematsu are credited as the original creators.
