Sword Art Online director Itou Tomohiko's upcoming anime movie, Hello World, has released a new PV with an uneasy twist.

Hello World is an original "sci-fi love story" set in Kyoto in the year 2027. High school student Katagaki Naomi (played by Kitamura Takumi) finds himself in a strange situation when an older version of himself (Matsuzaka Tori) from 10 years into the future appears before him. In order to save a classmate named Ruri (Hamabe Minami) from tragedy, the two must work together to change the future.

In addition to Itou, Hello World's creative team includes Kado: The Right Answer's Nozaki Mado for the script and K-On!'s Horiguchi Yukiko for character design, with Graphinica of Expelled from Paradise handling the animation.

Hello World is slated to premiere in Japanese cinemas on Sept. 20.
